Ridley Island Propane Export Terminal

J. Phoenix EPC Management Group Inc., acted as Prime Contractor for AltaGas Ltd., managing all civil, mechanical and electrical aspects of AltaGas’s first marine export facility for propane in Canada.

The facility began introducing propane in mid-April 2019 and the first shipment to Asia departed the terminal on May 23, 2019. This scope of work included the placement of over 27,000 m3 of concrete for the LPG Tank, BOP, Jetty, and Rail Retaining Wall, along with the steel liner installation of the LPG Tank, flare stack and roof raise.

In conjunction with the construction of AltaGas’s facility J. Phoenix EPC Management Group was also responsible for the construction and completion of RTI’s New Stormwater Management System: Phase 1, and the new RTI bridge.
